BBC Music and BBC Radio 2 will celebrate 40 years of Band Aid's iconic Christmas Number 1 single Do They Know It's Christmas? later this month.

The updated version of the song will premiere on UK radio and music streaming platforms on Monday 25th November, marking the 40th anniversary of the 1984 original hit. The first line-up of Band Aid was assembled by Bob Geldof and Midge Ure, consisting of such '80s stars as Phil Collins, Tony Hadley, George Michael and Sting.
