Even though he had been diagnosed with blood clots in late July, defensive tackle Christian Barmore was activated from the non-football injury list to the 53-man roster.

One especially valuable resource for Barmore was Patriots center David Andrews, who missed the entire 2019 season after doctors found blood clots in his lungs.
