South Sudan’s cabinet has agreed to receive Palestinians from the Gaza Strip following a request from Israel, The Telegraph has learnt.

Sources tell Reuters that South Sudan and Israel are in talks to resettle Gazans, despite denials by South Sudan’s Foreign Ministry.

Israel is reportedly in talks with South Sudan to relocate Palestinians from Gaza, a plan Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu calls “voluntary migration” and says aligns with US President Donald Trump’s vision.

The Telegraph reports that South Sudan has reportedly agreed to quietly resettle Gaza Arabs in a deal with Israel, the US, and UAE. While denied publicly, internal sources confirm cabinet approval.

Hamas has long called for a comprehensive deal but says it will only release the remaining hostages in return for the release of Palestinians imprisoned by Israel, a lasting ceasefire and an Israeli withdrawal from Gaza. The group has refused to lay down its arms, as Israel has demanded.
