The NFL safety has been accused in a civil lawsuit of physically and sexually assaulting the mother of his 3-year-old son while under the influence of crystal meth — in the presence of their child.

Ward, who is entering his 12th season and has played for the Texans since 2023, is accused of sexually and physically assaulting Cristy West, with whom he shares a son. The lawsuit alleges Ward attacked West at his home in Montgomery County, Texas, in April, then again in June.

A newly filed civil lawsuit accuses Houston Texans safety Jimmie Ward of assaulting the mother of his son by beating her in front of the child while on drugs. The lawsuit was filed on Tuesday in Harris County and seeks more than $20 million in damages.
