Man Utd handed Rasmus Hojlund transfer boost by AC Milan after striker is dropped for Arsenal clash
AC Milan have confirmed interest in Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund after he was dropped by manager Ruben Amorim for Sunday's clash with Arsenal.
The 22-year-old was omitted from Ruben Amorim's squad for their first match of the season against Arsenal on Sunday as he continues linked with a move away. Last month, the Portuguese head coach refused to guarantee Hojlund's future and, on Friday, declined to confirm whether he wanted to keep the Denmark international.
Reports claimed that stance was already softening even before Højlund was completely omitted from United’s matchday squad to face Arsenal in their Premier League opener on Sunday, even with new signing Benjamin Šeško only fit enough for a spot on the bench.
Milan are monitoring Monaco forward Breel Embolo, as reports from Italy claim that the Rossoneri have identified the Swiss international as a possible alternative should their pursuit in Manchester
