OpenAI has launched new agent functionality in ChatGPT that can perform tasks outside the chatbot, even while you're away.

ChatGPT agent is available for Pro users now, with Plus and Team users following in the next few days. Enterprise and Edu tiers will get it in a matter of weeks.

The digital assistant will be capable of completing web-based tasks like updating spreadsheets, purchasing ingredients or submitting expenses, according to OpenAI.
