The multi-brand group Stellantis has launched its third current-generation multi-energy platform, the STLA Frame. The ladder frame platform is designed to support large US pickups, vans and SUV models - and a variety of drive technologies.

The multi-energy platform can accommodate EV and range-extended EV powertrains, as well as hybrid, hydrogen fuel cell, and internal combustion vehicles.

Stellantis’ newest EV platform goes 500 miles on battery and supports fully electric, gas-extended, internal combustion, and hydrogen systems.

The platform serves North America and other key markets and will support a full BEV setup for Stellantis trucks.
