Storm Kingston swept across the U.S. from the Midwest into the South and mid-Atlantic, bringing snow, ice and dangerous road conditions to cities including Tulsa, Oklahoma, Kansas City and Roanoke, Virginia.

Parts of Virginia and North Carolina that are more prepared for hurricanes than snow received more than half a foot as a winter storm blasted across the mid-Atlantic on Feb. 19

With more winter weather moving into Central Virginia, there have been 53 crashes reported statewide, and Virginia State Police (VSP) is urging drivers to stay off the roads.
