Seven people were still missing Thursday following a fire and explosion at a fireworks warehouse in rural Northern California.

YOLO COUNTY – Seven people were missing Wednesday afternoon, a day after a warehouse storing fireworks exploded in Yolo County, authorities said. The explosion also sparked a vegetation fire and triggered evacuations.

A warehouse storing fireworks caught fire and exploded Tuesday, sending a fireball into the air and causing pyrotechnics to detonate above the site.
