The QuikTrip credit card can be used at any QuikTrip store in the United States to purchase food, fuel and other qualified purchases. Cardholders will receive rewards points and fuel discounts.

Employees at both QuikTrip locations, north and south of the river on State Highway 97, said that as of Tuesday the gasoline pump credit card readers were no longer recognizing American Express cards.

QuikTrip customers will be able to use the credit card to make purchases at the chain's locations. However, unlike other credit cards, it cannot be used at other retailers, according to Payment Week.
