Derrick Groves, the final escapee, has been convicted of two counts of second-degree murder and two counts of attempted second-degree murder, and he has pleaded guilty to two counts of manslaughter in separate cases.

Massey was the ninth of 10 men to be recaptured after their May 16 escape from the New Orleans jail. Four-time killer Derrick Groves is the last man on the run.
