The Little League Baseball World Series continued Saturday in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, though Mother Nature didn't exactly cooperate.

Braintree, Massachusetts is heading to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The Braintree American 12A team beat Bedford, New Hampshire in the New England Regional Championship game in Bristol, Connecticut Thursday night in a thrilling walk-off win.

SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, PENNSYLVANIA— Fresh off a thrilling win over defending 2024 LLWS champion Lake Mary in the Southeast Regional final, Irmo LL of South Carolina cruised past Braintree LL of Massachusetts — the New England Region champion — 13-0 in one-hit fashion in each team’s Williamsport opener on Thursday.

Day 5 began with a United States bracket game between Washington (Northwest region) and Massachusetts (New England). Bonney Lake, Washington edged Braintree, Massachusetts 3-2 to keep their championship hopes alive. Elsewhere, Canada scored a blowout win in the International bracket, routing Australia 12-0 in five innings.

The top 20 Little League teams from around the globe enter Williamsport, aiming to become the 2025 Little League World Series champions.
