The College Football Playoff picture, and most definitely the conference races, did not become any clearer last week. Six teams in the CBS Sports Power Rankings lost in Week 12, further muddying tiebreaker scenarios in the SEC and Big 12 while thrusting conversations into overdrive about how many teams from the SEC (and Big Ten) should be invited to play in the 12-team field.

Oregon remains the unanimous No. 1 team in the country. The Ducks are once again No. 1 with 1,550 points and all 62 first-place votes in the AP poll and the same spot with 1,375 points and all 55 first-place votes in the coaches poll after defeating Wisconsin 16-13 Saturday night at Camp Randall Stadium.
