Kutcher is leading a consortium of investors who are part of a $2.7 billion deal to take high-end membership club Soho House ( SHCO 14.92%) private. As part of the deal, Kutcher will take a seat on Soho House's board.

Soho House plans to go private again after four years on Wall Street. The luxury members club operator has struck a deal with an investor group led by hotel giant MCR.

MCR Hotels is leading a group of investors to take members-only club operator Soho House private for about $1.8 billion, the WSJ reported.
