Well, over the weekend, people outside the federal government realized that seemingly anyone can send an email that will presumably reach Musk at this Office of Personnel Management address. On Facebook, Alt National Park Service, a "resistance" page dedicated to protecting the parks, posted this:

To hear President Donald Trump and Elon Musk tell it, the dead steal elections. They get fraudulent Social Security checks. And now, apparently, dead people are working for the government too.

Using yet another haphazard mass email, Musk and DOGE told federal employees to document what they did last week — or else.
