As Sam Darnold's name continues to float around as a replacement for Rams QB Matthew Stafford, people have to be honest about Darnold's ability to win

The Los Angeles Rams have been compelled to trade away Pro Bowl quarterback Matthew Stafford and add Sam Darnold of the Minnesota Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings have a call to make between Sam Darnold and J.J. McCarthy, but Matthew Stafford and Aaron Rodgers are in the mix, too.

There have been rumors circulating around that Sam Darnold could replace Matthew Stafford for the 2025 NFL season if the Rams move off their legendary gunslinger. Those rumors should stay rumors as Darnold is not remotely close to a good fit in Los Angeles.

On Feb. 20, SportsBettingAG projected Minnesota as the most likely landing spot for Stafford should the 37-year-old swap teams ahead of the 2025 campaign. The Vikings had odds of plus-300, following the the New York Giants at plus-400 and the Las Vegas Raiders at plus-500.
