NBA Insider Jake Fischer spoke on the Sixers and their interest in bringing in their former playmaker Ben Simmons after the dust settled from the trade deadline. Simmons agreed to a buyout with the Brooklyn Nets. The 28-year-old joined the Nets in 2022 in a deal where the Sixers acquired James Harden.

The Los Angeles Clippers recently acquired Ben Simmons after he agreed to a contract buyout with the Brooklyn Nets and cleared waivers. The 28-year-old reportedly prioritized a move to Los Angeles over an offer from the Cleveland Cavaliers ( via ESPN's Shams Charania ).

"Ben Simmons gave back almost $1.1M in his buyout from the Brooklyn Nets, a league source told @spotrac," Smith wrote on X. "This reflects the amount Simmons will recoup when he signs a prorated veteran minimum deal with the LA Clippers.

The Chicago Bulls will play against the Philadelphia 76ers at Wells Fargo Center on Monday at 7:00 PM ET. The 76ers are favored to win by 3.5 points. Both teams recently lost their previous games. Key players to watch include Nikola Vucevic from the Bulls and Tyrese Maxey from the 76ers.
