Grimes, 24, has only made four appearances as a Sixer since the team sent Caleb Martin and a 2030 second-round pick to the Dallas Mavericks in exchange for Grimes and the return of the Sixers' 2025 second-round pick — currently projected to be the No. 37 overall pick in June — but the early returns have been very promising.

Grimes ended Thursday's 124-104 loss to the Celtics with 12 points (5-12 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), seven rebounds and three assists across 33 minutes.

Quentin Grimes, acquired from Dallas in the Caleb Martin trade, has averaged 32.8 minutes per night in his first four outings as a Sixer and entered the starting lineup on Wednesday in Brooklyn in the club’s last game before the All-Star break.
