On Monday at 7:18 a.m. the NWS Fort Worth TX issued a dense fog advisory in effect until 10 a.m. The advisory is for Cooke, Hood and Somervell counties.

Record low temperatures are possible Thursday morning with a forecast low of 14 degrees. The record low temperature on that date is 19 degrees, set back in 1939. But Texas will be Texas and temperatures will be back into the 70s for highs starting next week.

After a streak of subfreezing days and a dense fog advisory Monday, North Texas will have highs in the 70s most of this week.

A dense fog advisory has already been issued for half of North Texas for Tuesday morning, including Dallas County.
