BOSTON (AP) — Attorneys for Planned Parenthood clinics nationwide argued in federal court Friday that cutting off Medicaid funding to its abortion providers would hurt vulnerable patients who already have limited health care options.

Since President Trump signed his sweeping domestic policy bill into law, a key provision that prevents Planned Parenthood clinics from receiving Medicaid funding has already been temporarily blocked by a federal judge.

Due to lack of funding, Planned Parenthood Southwest Ohio Region said its health centers in Springfield and Hamilton will close Aug. 1.
