The carrots, which were sold at supermarket chains nationwide, "should no longer be in grocery stores but may be in consumers' refrigerators or freezers."

Grimmway Farms​, which made and packaged the organic carrots, issued the recall on Saturday after nearly 40 cases were recorded in 18 states.
Carrot recall at Trader Joe's, Wegmans and more linked to E. coli outbreak
Brands of the recalled carrots include Bunny Luv, Trader Joe's, Wegmans and more. The recall was initiated by Grimmway Farms. So far, there have been 39 illnesses, 15 hospitalizations and one death associated with the outbreak. Cases have been reported in 18 states.
