Joel Embiid is far from concerned. The 76ers lost, 111-99, to the New York Knicks on Tuesday at the Wells Fargo Center in his season debut. The loss dropped them to 2-8, the second-worst record in the Eastern Conference (entering Wednesday) in a season with lofty expectations.

Joel Embiid had 11 points on 5-for-11 shooting after halftime and looked a bit out of sorts on both ends of the floor. It makes sense when considering the lack of chemistry, but Embiid didn't look like his usual aggressive self. He didn't even attempt a free-throw in his 31 minutes of playing time.
