The New Jersey Forest Fire Service is responding to a wildfire burning near Pine Park and the Lakewood Country Club in Ocean County.

LAKEWOOD — The Country Club Wildfire burning in the area of Pine Park is halfway contained as of Tuesday morning, officials said. The fire, which started Monday afternoon, has grown to 35 acres, according to New Jersey Forest Fire Service. Clearstream Road remains closed between Brewers Bridge and Hope Chapel Road.
