The explosion happened on Friday in the town of Manteo, leaving the house in shambles and destroying nearby cars.

Gutshall and other neighbors were startled by the house explosion on Dogwood Trail in Manteo. The blast left the house and cars completely destroyed, glass on the ground and debris all over.
