O n Monday morning, the Miami Dolphins and Pittsburgh Steelers announced a massive trade; sending players Jalen Ramsey and Jonnu Smith plus a 2027 seventh-round pick to Pittsburgh in exchange for Minkah Fitzpatrick and 2027 fifth-round pick.

The Steelers intend to utilize Jalen Ramsey on the boundary, in the slot and even at safety. This plan allows the Steelers to have Joey Porter, Darius Slay and Ramsey all on the field.

While the recent departure of Minkah Fitzpatrick has ruffled more than a few feathers in Pittsburgh — ex-NFL CB Asante Samuel Sr. believes it was worth acquiring Jalen Ramsey.
