TEXAS (KAUZ) - Governor Greg Abbott has updated his disaster declaration following recent flooding across Texas. With these counties added, the total now sits at 30 counties included in the disaster declaration.

A man and a little girl from Camp Mystic were still missing, Abbott said. He last said the death toll stood at 135.

AUSTIN, Texas – Gov. Greg Abbott added four counties to the state’s disaster declaration following catastrophic flooding hit Texas earlier this month. In a Wednesday news release, Abbott said Edwards, Kinney, Real and Schleicher counties are joining 26 other counties that already received a state disaster declaration from the governor’s office.

The Texas House Redistricting Committee will hold three public meetings on the plan, and protests are set to continue throughout Texas with each one. Other "Stop the Texas Steal" protests will be at the University of Houston and Hereford University, per @howdypolitics.

"We must ensure better preparation in the future," Texas Gov. Greg Abbott said in a statement posted on social media.
