After not reaching an agreement with the Toronto Blue Jays, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. enters 2025 as the most talked about future free agent in baseball.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. recently mentioned that he's ready to play for all 30 teams, including the Yankees, if given the right opportunity.

It looks as though Vladimir Guerrero Jr. will be getting away from the Blue Jays after the two sides failed to agree on a contract extension.

After striking out again in their seemingly never-ending quest to land a big-time free agent, the Toronto Blue Jays added another ignominious setback to their ledger, failing to sign a long-term contract extension with Vladimir Guerrero Jr.

The Blue Jays, who have missed the postseason in three of the six seasons Guerrero has spent in Toronto and have failed to advance past the AL wild-card round in the other three campaigns, have work to do in that department if they want to impress their star slugger.

Toronto Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. reaffirmed on Saturday that he will consider every team when he reaches free agency this winter. While that may not sound like a revelation, it's further evidence that Guerrero has moved off comments he made years ago indicating he would never play for the New York Yankees based on an experience he had with his father.
