With Yordan Alvarez still sidelined, the Astros have a need they want to secure before the trade deadline approaches.
A player who has been tagged recently as a possible target for the Astros is Baltimore Orioles outfielder Ryan O’Hearn. Robert Murray of FanSided made the case for O’Hearn to land in Houston.
The Houston Astros are in Seattle to play a three-game series with the Mariners. On Sunday, Houston will conduct some post-draft business.
Paredes suffered a right hamstring injury during Saturday’s matchup with the Seattle Mariners and was removed from the game. Through an interpreter, he said he will return to Houston tomorrow to be evaluated. He said this hamstring injury initially “hurts more than the other one,” which kept him out for three games in June via Matt Kawahara.
