Artificial intelligence is no substitute for the mind of Adrian Newey and Aston Martin expect Formula One's foremost designer to have an immediate impact when he joins them next month, according to team boss Andy Cowell.

That is the message coming from Aston Martin Group CEO and team principal Andy Cowell, who says they must “harness” the creativity and competitiveness of their F1 design guru.
