In what Alaska calls an industry first, flyers starting later next year will choose from one of three options to earn points for award travel.

Alaska Airlines has finally launched its first premium credit card, the Atmos Rewards Summit Visa Infinite, co-branded with Bank of America. The card, announced in March, offers rewards through the new Atmos Rewards loyalty program, access to Alaska Lounges and other benefits.

The new Atmos Rewards Summit card boasts a long list of valuable perks, including a new and highly versatile Global Companion Award benefit, plus 3x back on 'foreign purchases.'
