Manchester United have completed the signing of teenage full-back Diego Leon from Paraguayan side Cerro Porteno. United secured the deal for the 18-year-old for a $4m fee with up to $5m in add-ons based on first team achievements, after completing a pre-contract deal in the winter window.

Leon initially agreed terms with United during the January transfer window. But, due to him being 17 at the time, the club were forced to wait until this summer to get the full-back to formally sign on the dotted line.
