They headed for home and an off-day Monday with their AL West lead at 2 games. Houston received two strong starts, from Jason Alexander and Spencer Arrighetti, sandwiched around two troubling ones by Lance McCullers Jr.

Jesús Sánchez was excellent to watch in the opener against the Orioles. He stepped up to bat five times and was perfect on the day, going 5-for-5 with four singles, a double, an RBI and a run scored. Hopefully that gets the outfielder going since it's been a struggle for him since coming to the Astros.

Christian Walker homered for a third-straight game and the Houston Astros went deep four times in a 9-8 victory over the Baltimore Orioles on Saturday night.
