Scott Boras is starting to let out some morsels of information in the Juan Soto sweepstakes. The mega agent told reporters at the GM Meetings in San Antonio his client and the sport’s top free agent is prioritizing playing for teams with owners committed to “winning,” as noted by Newsday.

The Red Sox and Blue Jays reportedly have met with Soto and Boras in recent days, too. The Yankees are due to do so Monday.

Boras clients failed to dominate the market last winter. Now Boras is back with a stacked roster and a chance to prove that was just a blip.
