Three hurt in Chelsea collapse after box truck driver crashes into scaffolding

NEW YORK -- A box truck crashed into a sidewalk shed in New York City injuring three people on Monday morning. It happened around 8:17 a.m. in Chelsea on West 29th Street between 7th and 8th avenues.
The DOB also says it issued a permit for the sidewalk shed back in October, but there is no permit for work at that location, which would need the shed.
Fire crews in New York City responded to a scaffolding collapse early Monday morning, sending three people to the hospital.
