A new migrant detention facility on a military base near the U.S.-Mexico border is scheduled to begin operations on Sunday.

Lincoln County has been placed underneath a flash flood watch until 8 PM because of the expected rain. Rain chances will remain strong until about Tuesday and then begin to drop off on Wednesday.
